I’m watching the Wizard of Oz episode of Scrubs and the heart transplant patient’s name is Ray Bolger. Ray Bolger was the actor who played the scarecrow in the original Wizard of Oz. GOTTA LOVE IT!
By the by, I told my classmates I didn’t have time to start watching Breaking Bad to use in my film research paper, but really I’d just rather watch Scrubs.
I should really do my film response paper and figure out what my research topic is going to be, but I don’t feel like homework today. Poo, because I don’t know if I’ll have time for it tomorrow.
I finally watched The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada written by Guillermo Arriaga and directed by Tommy Lee Jones, or the reason I signed up for US-Mexico border films. I loved it. I would watch it right now if I had the time (it’s 2 hours and 1 minute long).
To Do List:
- be more outgoing
- don’t annoy people
- homework
- buy cheese and Gatorade
Yep.
Glory of Women
You love us when we’re heroes, home on leave,
Or wounded in a mentionable place.
You worship decorations; you believe
That chivalry redeems the war’s disgrace.
You make us shells. You listen with delight,
By tales of dirt and danger fondly thrilled.
You crown our distant ardours while we fight,
And mourn our laurelled memories when we’re killed.
You can’t believe that British troops “retire”
When hell’s last horror breaks them, and they run.
Trampling the terrible corpses—blind with blood.
O German mother dreaming by the fire,
While you are knitting socks to send you son
His face is trodden deeper in the mud.
- Siegfried Sassoon, Craiglockhart 1917
I am so excited for Teen Wolf! I just wish I had a tv and cable :(
